Safeguarding statement

Nuthurst Day Care is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child in our care. Safeguarding is everybody's responsibility and it underpins everything we do.

All staff receive safeguarding and child protection training as part of their induction and refresh it regularly. Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check and is recruited under safer recruitment procedures. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Ross Mackenzie, supported by our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Kirsty Ferris.

We work in partnership with parents, carers and local agencies, including Manchester Safeguarding Partnership, and will always act promptly on any concern about a child's welfare.
